MooT BooXLe performing on the Synthesizers.com modular analogue synthesizer. This is not a perfect performance, as it was improvised in one go. Also functioning in this video are the Moogerfooger CP-251, the Roland Space Echo, and Reason drums. I was controlling the filter cutoff with a CV pedal. REMIX available NOW at www.myspace.com/mootbooxle !! Also, I wasn't looking at the camera, in case you were wondering. I was watching computer monitors, which were showing visual feedback on what I was playing. Thanks for watching!!

This video is about controlling a modular synth with Nintendo's wiimote gamepad, using Doepfer A-100, Doepfer MCV24, Wiimote and computer. Softwares used are Bluesoleil, Glovepie and midiox. This video is not an artistic demonstration but a technical explanation of this system (that can be used for making music ofc). Musical jams and stuff coming soon... Thanks for watching and sorry for approximative english.

Back again with another FL Studio preset creation video. This time, it's a 303 bassline recreation. We will be using a single TS404 channel. I really do think that unless you get out and try to make your own presets, you won't know how to create that truly unique sound. A lot of people still stick to the synth presets pre-packaged with FL. Those are there only to show you how the synths work :) 2008-07-27: To those wondering how I added the modulation effect, when you have the Piano Roll window open, you can right-click that blank gray panel on the bottom left and it will allow you to set parameters for each note such as velocity and panning.

Visit umop.com/parallax.htm for more music! Here's another total and complete electro-bastardization of an American classic. This time I run "Devil Went Down to Georgia" thru the techno/prog wringer, with sincere apologies to Charlie Daniels. No vocals in this video, although eventually when I semi-formally record it I'll potentially add some vocoded bullshit (and hopefully leave out some of the flubs, too). For now you can hear it in its current state of already-too-stupidness!

Lead Guitar ? Check. Synth Bass ? Check. Badass drumming ? Check. Crazy-ass vocals (YABBA DABBA DOIN' TO DA BEAT BOO-BOO !) ? Check. The first track of Don Blackman's classic first album is a monster, plain and simple. That's one of my fave synth lines right here. The silly-ness of the chorus is so awesome. I'd like to know who does the all-out 'proco rat into a marshall on 11' solo at the end, but it's awesome. Kinda like a shred solo with the guitarist trying to play as few notes as possible: very Hazel-esque. Those bends are real finger eaters for someone who almost never plays lead guitar ! Have mercy on me xD

I have been creating fan re-edits and remixes of the lovely Donna's songs since 2000. But this mix of "I'm A Fire" is special to me for one specific reason. This is my first opportunity to create a true remix: creating all-new instrumentation and using Donna's acapella featured on her "I'm A Fire" CD single (available at Perfect Beat's website). I'm thrilled to be able to share my mix with the rest of the world. I hope enjoyment can be found in it. Comments would be more than appreciated. And much love, respect and admiration to Donna Summer. Please support her by purchasing her new singles "I'm A Fire" and "Stamp Your Feet", as well as "Crayons", her first album of all-new music since 1991, due to be released on May 20. Concerto for Self-Accompanying Digital Synthesizer. The instrument is possibly the first realtime digital synthesizer, built at Bell Telephone Labs, NJ by Hal Alles and team, with C language software written by Laurie that processes the player's live input into an ongoing accompaniment that will continue to be played live against. This is a legal copy uploaded by the owner of the original tape. The OHM DVD's video was taken from this. This is the "Toccata" part of the great J.S.Bach organ composition "Toccata and Fugue in D minor". The Fugue part is far more intricate, so I left that out for now, but I'm hoping to make a full version later, including the Fugue. I used to play this Toccata on electric guitar over 20 years ago, but hadn't been playing it for a long time. But when my daughter heard me noodling around with the opening theme on my AXON guitar synth with the "Church Organ" preset, she suggested I should record a video for this. Thanks for the idea, Synne! I've heard many versions of this piece on electric guitar, unfortunately some of these don't treat Bach's masterpiece very well.. I wanted to do justice to the great composer and stay as true to the original as possible, this piece is marvellously written and there's no reason to change anything. Most of the guitarists I've heard playing this (including myself before), have fallen into temptation of using a lot of distortion which may sound good on the single-note parts, but makes the chords and harmonies sound muddy and undefined. With the guitar synth, all the chord and harmony details shine through. Yeah, I know this isn't exactly the best organ sound on the planet (real church organ purists should maybe stay away..), but I hope you can live with that. And I guess this also can be an interesting demo of my "Terratec Producer Axon AX100mkII Guitar to Midi Controller". It tracks quite well, but like all guitar synths you have to play VERY accurately to avoid accidental "glitches". The guitar I'm using here is a bit special; It's an old Roland (!) G505 synth controller guitar. (built for Roland by Ibanez, I think; it's quite similar to the old Ibanez "Blazer" model). It actually has a built-in hexaphonic guitar synth pickup which can be used to control Roland's old GR series analog guitar synths. But this was made before Midi became standard, and is not compatible with today's guitar synth systems, so I've mounted a new GK-3 pickup on it next to the old one. I'm also using a few effects in addition to the AXON; a Boss PS-5 Harmonizer for adding an octave down on some parts, and for the 6th down harmony on 1:58-2:13 (I'm using an expression pedal to change the pitch). And I used some T.C. Chorus, Boss RV-5 Reverb, and a capo.. All recorded in one take with Cubase (no editing; WYSIWYH..) Hope you enjoy it! www.ketilstrand.com mp3 version: www.geocities.com/ketilstrand/lydklipp

Finally, here's the Fugue part as a follow-up to my previous Toccata version played on Axon AX100 guitar synth. (I've also added a new Toccata version without the Axon, but with the Roland GR-100 instead). In my first version of Toccata I used only the church organ sound from my Axon, but on the Fugue I've mixed the Axon sound with my good old Roland GR-100, one of Roland's analog "guitar synth" units from the early 80's. It doesn't sound much like a synth, though, it's basically a "hexaphonic fuzz".. Both sounds were recorded simultaneously and mixed in Cubase, to make it sound like a "duet" for organ and guitar, and you can see me playing both tracks on the split screen. I also added a third track on a few small sections where I found my piano sheet music version lacked something compared to the original organ version. (the piano version uses of course only two staffs/voices, the original organ version has three; left and right hand plus feet). Of all my You tube videos, this has been my biggest challenge so far. It's not the easiest piece of music to play on a guitar, so it took quite a few hours to learn, reading both treble and bass clefs from the sheet music.. Hope you enjoy it! Additional pedals used: Electro-Harmonix Micro Pog, Boss DD-6 dig.delay, Boss RV-5 dig. reverb, Palmer PDI-09 The Junction guitar DI box. mp3 version: www.geocities.com/ketilstrand/lydklipp www.ketilstrand.com

This video was uploaded by ~Rob Probably one of the most controversial movies known on the net itself. This performance gives off all different views and expressed ideas from viewers. Watch. Is it a real performance, or pre-recorded? There is an answer. (All rights go to the owner of this video who recorded this project.
