A quick shooting sequence showing the excellent accuracy of the tiny 950 Jetfire pistol. Holding 9 rounds, this is an excellent portable choice for LE or CCW Civilians. Yes it's only a .25 ACP caliber but thats a potent enough caliber when your carry system demands a pistol this small. The single action design will require practice and training. But, with that, it makes a great backup gun as well for you officers. Look for Nutnfancy's table top review of the 950 as well. Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 10 out of 10 NOTE: Camo and tactical gear worn is from other tests being conducted that day at the clinic. I test and demo many items per visit.

The Beretta 950 Jetfire .25 auto pistol remains a feat of engineering. Thats because it is indeed tiny, lightweight (10 oz), reliable, accurate, durable, handy, and offers an impressive 9 rounds of firepower (!). There are lighter, more powerful choices available but the Jetfire remains an excellent backup gun for officers and CCW holders. Its tiny form factor and slimness make it an ideal carry gun. Some recoil-shy female shooters might find this diminutive little auto better suited to their preferences and it would well in that capacity also. The Jetfires (and Bobcats) tip-up barrel design very useful. And being this small, users will find the Jetfire will fit into a variety of smart and readily available carry methods such as ankle holsters. Downsides would include the Jetfires inordinately high cost, difficulty in finding (not listed currently in Beretta catalog), and its more complex single action methodology. Yes the little .25 auto cartridge is underpowered, as are many handgun cartridges, but it still has taken its share of bad guys out (as shown in the video). And it beats nothing. Nutnfancy advocates carrying the largest caliber you can, as consistently as you can, but at least have something. For some that just might mean having this little Jetfire or something like it at the readyall the time. Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 10 out of 10

I got ahold of a good quality copy of this rare commercial of Jetfire and Shockwave from the Transformers. Note how the animated Jetfire looks like the toy, not the TV series character "Skyfire".
